FastPass+ How it Works & Attractions

FastPass+

Ever since Disney rolled it out, the new FastPass+ has some people scratching their heads and wondering how the heck it works. Here’s the deal…

For those staying on Disney property, you are allowed to choose 3 FastPass+ per day for your length of stay, 60 days prior to your trip. For those staying off-property, you are able to choose 3 FastPass+ per day, one day at a time, 30 days prior to your travel.

The three FastPass+ you choose in advance must all be at the same park.

Once those three are used, you can get more FastPass+ at a kiosk in the parks (you cannot get additional FastPasses through the My Disney Experience app). You are not limited to the initial park you chose FastPasses for – you can park-hop and get additional FastPasses at any park you please.

There is NO CHARGE for FastPasses – they are one of the free benefits of visiting Walt Disney World.

Disney Unveils Changes to the Great Movie Ride in Disney’s Hollywood Studios

For many, The Great Movie Ride is a classic and shouldn’t be messed with. However, some people have long felt that the ride is in desperate need of updating. Maybe this news will please both sides…but I kind of doubt it. 😉

Turner Classic Movies is a relatively new sponsor of The Great Movie Ride, and Disney Imagineers worked with the cable movie network to give the ride’s finale a high-definition re-work.

Turner Classic Movies host Robert Osborne provides the new pre-recorded narration.

On Twitter, WDW New Today reported that the new additions include clips from the much anticipated “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” and “Guardians of the Galaxy”.

Are you happy for the update or fuming that they dared to touch a Disney classic?
